The children have been noticing the changes to the trees that tell us Autumn has arrived. They've been so creative with the abundant supply of leaves we are fortunate to enjoy each year. Sweeping and transporting them has been a big feature with lots of opportunities for communication and language, problem solving and sharing along the way.

The book 'Leaf Man' by Lois Ehlert inspired us to make our own leaf person which we enjoyed using in our role play.
