During our time together, we really enjoyed sharing the book ‘Peely Wally.’ The story is about a small bird who laid an egg which rolled off the branch and went on an adventure.  We looked at the different patterns on the eggs in the story, including stripes and spots. The children then had a go at designing patterns on their own egg.
