The children have enjoyed listening to the story, ‘Maisie’s Makes Ginger Bread’, after which we went on to roll and cut ginger-scented playdough to create Gingerbread men using our special cutters. The children worked hard to roll their dough into flat surfaces which made it easy for them to cut their shapes. They managed this task independently and were very proud of their achievement. This has really helped the children to develop their fine motor control and hand-eye co-ordination.
