This week we have introduced the woodwork area and completed a 1-1 induction with each child. This involved explaining to the children our safety rules, which included putting on our goggles, holding the hammer carefully and, of course, making sure we kept our fingers out of the way!  This forms part of our first milestone in our curriculum goal ‘construct’. The children have shown great listening skills and followed the rules really well.
