This week the children discovered a grasshopper in the garden. We spoke about being kind and looking after the grasshopper. We have lots of books about insects at The Lawns Nursery so we were able to find out together what they need to survive. Grasshoppers mainly eat plants such as grass, seeds and bark and like us they need water. The fairy garden is a great habitat for insects at The Lawns. There are lots of natural materials to explore and a range of herbs for the insects and us to try.
